Sophia Hunt is a Sydney-based jazz trumpet player and emerging artist studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Performing under the name Sophia Rose, she blends classic jazz standards and funk influences with modern grooves, delivering dynamic sets across a range of ensemble formats and established Sydney venues.

Sophia is a Sydney-based trumpet player and emerging jazz musician currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She regularly performs gigs and has played with notable jazz musicians including Kevin Hunt, Pete Skelton, and Eamon Dilworth, as well as pop artists such as GO-JO and DOBBY (including touring).
She has performed at respected venues like City Recital Hall, ACO on the Pier, Utzon Room at the Opera House, and various University of Sydney venues. She has also played at major events including Sydney Festival (twice) and Woodford Festival, with upcoming performances at GetTogether Festival, Milton Jazz and Blues, and Cronulla Jazz and Blues.
